In this photo released by an official website of the Iranian supreme leader's office, a clergyman holds a poster showing the late revolutionary founder Ayatollah Khomeini, right, and supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, during a meeting of clerics and the supreme leader, in Tehran, Iran, Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009. Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard on Sunday called for the protesters who tore up pictures of the revered Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini to be punished, in the latest pressure on the opposition movement. Television cameras caught images of students tearing up Khomeini's photo during anti-government protests last week and the images have been repeatedly broadcast on state TV. Khomeini remains widely respected and revered in Iran.
