Early Friday morning The "Iranian Cyber Army" attacked Twitter. As we said in previous articles. Iran Cracks Down On Internet and Iran Considers Death Penalty for Bloggers.
For a hour about 2AM EST USA Twitter users where seeing messages that suggested that Iran is behind the hacking of Twitter. It also appears the DNS of the site was compromised. A DNS is the path the Internet follows to get to websites. It controls the web.
From twitter status page:
"We are working to recovery from an unplanned downtime and will update more as we learn the cause of this outage.
Update: Twitter’s DNS records were temporarily compromised but have now been fixed. We are looking into the underlying cause and will update with more information soon."

Sounds like a little kid to us. It could be! There is no proof that this attack has anything to do with Iran. It could be some kid having fun.
Now if these webmasters doing this are from Iran they are pretty stupid if they are trying to disrupt communications in the US. Internet user are far too savvy for these idiots. 2AM on a Friday is a dumb time to perform a hack. Knowone loses anything. Twitter has engineers ready 24/7 to watch for these hacks and realize they need to beet the other hackers.
About all they disrupted on twitter was some Holiday shopping on free shipping day. Well Amazon ships up to a couple days before Christmas. Anyway they didn't seem to do much damage.
If this is true it could be a act of War by Iran. If they hacked a American company with the intent of harming the country that is a act of attack. We all know The American Government won't peruse this because the are blind to what being attacked is.
Twitter played a major part in The Iran Election Up Rising and this appears to be a revenge attack if its from a Iranian Sponsered Hacker.
If Iran is attacking American Companies and it's citizens isn't that a act of war?
Is this just kids?
Does American need to be more carefull with its websites the world uses?

If you are reading this from Iran you should know that %90 of all tweets are for marketing stuff. Just because everyone is tweeting the word "Iran" doesn't mean the care about you. They are just marketing there account. If you think otherwise you probably think Survivor is real too.
